​Accenti Magazine Awards 2009 





The Fourth Annual Accenti Magazine Awards were held on April 24, 2009, at the 11th Blue Metropolis Montreal International Literary Festival. The 2009 Awards featured the winners of the fourth writing contest and of the second photo competition “Capture an Italian Moment.”

First Prize: Robert T. Norton (Toronto, ON)

Second Prize: Monica Lisi Lacey (Charlottetown, PEI)

Winning Photo: “Afternoon In Volterra”


Third Prize: Paul French (Toronto, ON)

Winning Photo: "Bella Donna"


The judges were GisŹle Amantea and Anna Carlevaris.

Winning Story: “Lost Worlds” 


Second Prize: Terri Favro (Toronto, ON)

Third Prize: Angela Long (Masset, BC)

Winning Story: “This is Sunday Lunch”


The judges were Caterina Edwards, Angela Leuck and Franco Ricci.
