Montreal, Quebec Da ALBINONI a MANCINI Concert CORPO MUSICALE DELL'O.F.I Casa d'Italia This fine ensemble composed of 35 professional musicians under the leadership of its artistic director Ron Di Lauro and his assistant Antonio Bernabei, is presenting its revival concert “Da Albinoni a Mancini.” This historical event will revive a significant part of musical history of the Italian-Canadians in Montreal. In 1939, Maestro Agostini recruited Italian musicians from Montreal to form the band. Its existence was short lived due to the circumstances of World War II and the closing of the Casa d’Italia from 1940-1947. In complying with the mission of the Son’s of Italy, the band hopes to capture the spirit and interpret the role of the Sons of Italy as significant contributors to the Italian-Canadian community. 25$ Sonia Faoro
